Bathroom - Simply Organizing
Bathrooms are one of my favorite places to organize, because they are utilitarian to the point of being awkward. But also one of the most intimate areas in our homes, and my personal favorite to add personalized touches to make you feel like the queen (or king :) that you are. Check out my article Spa Sanctuary at Home, to get easy ideas to implement right now. In this bathroom, this client was brave enough to allow me to post all of the photos. We only did simple organization, applying Mari Kondo's iconic question "Does this spark joy/ do I love it?" before putting everything back. Unfortunately I missed my opportunity to get "before" pictures under the sink, but that was the only area that something new was purchased: a lazy susan, and a two tier caddy.
Since organizing her bathroom, this client has reported that she loves keeping it clean, it brings her joy, where as before it used to be a source of stress.

Closet Makeover
In this closet makeover I taught the principles of the book "Spark Joy" to my client. Once she learned how to test if something "sparked joy" she was having a blast organizing. Then we implemented a system that worked for her, and that she would stick too, and applied basic feng shui; with navy blue hangars. The dark hangars correspond to the "career" section of the bagua map. Just within that week she had already gotten two new clients! Since her closet has been organized she has reported that she could not believe how much better she is sleeping, how happy she is every time she opens her closet, how much stress (she called it "stupid stress") was lifted off her shoulders, and to her shock; now she actually enjoys folding laundry.
Team Work Makes the.... Estate Sale work
.Here in this estate sale, I worked as part of a team of organizers to assist Kat, from The Simplified Life. This was a huge project, though these picture don't look like much was accomplished. A LOT was accomplished. This job required a lot of patients and minute attention to detail. Working as a team was fantastic.
Boys Rooms
Boys will be Boys! With some organization, these rooms were transformed to a more peaceful & playful version of it self. Now they know where all their toys are! And much easier to maintain.
Tranquil Room with Comfy Reading Nook
Now that her child has moved away to college, the client wanted a zen space, to relax, stretch, meditate, and curl up in an extremely comfy cozy nook/guest room; while also maximizing the space. Designing a floating bed capitalized on the space of the room, we basically created a new closet! With all the space we created, we were able to free up some over crowded closets and even bring things from the storage that they use often enough to want inside the home. Plus who doesn't want to curl up with a great book, and have a view that makes you feel like you are among the treetops.
Computer Gaming Area
We've all got hobbies, let show them off! By establishing some organization we were able to show off collector items, and remove that overwhelming feeling when looking at chaos.
Plain & Simple Organizing
In this home, we simply organized. Nothing was purchased, and look how much space was created!
In 3 hours we organized a little more than three closets. With all the space created, we were able to find new homes for certain items throughout the home, enhancing functionality of the entire home. The couple was very happy and was left with a plan of how to keep things organized the way they want, and what tools would suite their home best, should they decide to purchase anything in the future.
Of course we needed to show off their adventurous side too!

Reclaiming the Garage!
In this garage the client wanted to take inventory of what was there, and re-establish it for its intended use. We cleared out a lot, and designated homes for everything that was kept. What a difference!
Preschool Planter
Colloborating together with Kids (effort & design), Teachers (time away from lesson plan) and Parents (donations, thank you), we were able to transform this planter box into something beautiful & interactive, while allowing for the plants to grow. About 25 kids were able to participate, in planting, deciding on arrangements, and creating mini stories within the planter, working together with a guide (me) to ensure that it would turn out beautiful. The kids were very enthusiastic, and loved seeing their creation come to life!
